EE QUIZZERS SHINE ANEW IN IIEE COMPETITIONS

The TIP Manila EE Quizzers emerged as Champion in the 2009 IIEE 23rd   Regional Quiz Show and 2nd Runner up in the 2009 IIEE 9th  Regional Math Wizard Contest held last September 25, 2009 at the Technological Institute of the Philippines, Quezon City.

The TIP quizzers for the Regional Quiz Show were JJ Augustus Rosacay, Jan Lou Soteo, Mark Jefferson Diaz, Lyniel Brylle Teruel, and Jay Mar Gonzales. For the IIEE Math Wizard Contest, the TIP quizzers were Mark Jefferson Diaz, Jan Lou Soteo, Rodrigo Rellama, Edward Normor and Christian Pao. Engr. Jeffrey Cabigting and Engr. Jeffrey Landicho, EE faculty members, served as faculty coaches of the teams.

The TIP EE Quiz teams were also last year’s Champion in the 2008 IIEE 22nd National Quiz Show regional and national levels and in the 2008 IIEE 8th Math Wizard Contest regional and national levels held at Adamson University.

The EE TIP Quiz Team will compete in the IIEE National Quiz Show which will coincide with the IIEE 34th National Convention to be held at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia, Pasay City on November 4-7, 2009.
