ME DEPARTMENT’S PRIDE

Five Mechanical Engineering students of the Technological Institute of the Philippines (TIP) Manila romped away with the Championship medal and trophy in the 2009 Inter-University Quiz Contest held at the Lyceum University of the Philippines, Manila on September 24, 2009. The students were Rey Benedict V. Fortaleza, Michael B. Villanueva, John Carlo D. Baltazar, Jeff Rey T. Oquindo and Reuben John P. Magallon.

The same group of students won a trophy as 1st Runner up in the 7th Mechanical Engineering Inter University Quiz Contest held at Batangas State University on September 29, 2009.

Engr. Nicanor L. Serrano, ME chair and Engr. George Buhay served as coaches of the student quizzers.
