TIP MANILA GETS CENTER OF DEVELOPMENT (COD) AWARD

The Technological Institute of the Philippines (TIP) Manila was recently named by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) as a Center of Development (COD) for Computer Engineering (CpE).

The recognition was “based on the results of the verification and deliberation conducted by the COD evaluators in TIP Manila and the recommendation of the Technical Panel for Engineering and Technology (TPET),” and shall take effect over a period of three (3) years.

TIP Manila is one of only ten (10) higher educational institutions (HEIs) throughout the country to receive the COD in Computer Engineering Award from the CHED.

Most recently, TIP Manila also received the Deregulated Status Award.

The COD award is the second for TIP Manila, having been named earlier by the CHED as a Center of Development in Information Technology Education.
